Anthony Morelli
Endorsed by the Town of Clifton Park Republican Committee for Town Supervisor
Anthony F. Morelli, a longtime Clifton Park Town Board member, U.S. Navy veteran, and local attorney, has been officially endorsed by the Clifton Park Republican Party in his candidacy for Town Supervisor of Clifton Park, pledging fiscally responsible leadership, strong public safety, and transparent local government.
Morelli brings extensive experience in town government, having served as Councilman and Deputy Supervisor from 2020 through 2025, along with prior roles as Deputy Town Attorney and Counsel to the Planning Board. Throughout his service, he has focused on keeping taxes low, controlling spending, supporting law enforcement and emergency services, and ensuring responsible growth that preserves Clifton Park’s character.
“Clifton Park works best when it is governed with discipline, accountability, and respect for taxpayers,” said Morelli. “As Town Supervisor, I will continue to protect residents, invest wisely in infrastructure, and ensure our town remains a great place to raise a family and grow a business.”
A United States Navy Commander (Ret.) with 21 years of service, Morelli credits his leadership style to the values of integrity, teamwork, and service before self. His military background, combined with his legal career and municipal experience, positions him as a steady and principled leader during challenging times.
In addition to his Town Board service, Morelli has served on numerous boards and commissions, including the Zoning Board, Environmental Conservation Commission, Industrial Development Agency, and as Chairman of the Capital Resource Corporation, which supports nonprofit organizations throughout Saratoga County. He currently serves on the Saratoga County Ethics Advisory Board and Youth Advisory Council.
A Clifton Park resident since 2005, Morelli is deeply involved in the community through youth sports, school organizations, veterans’ groups, and faith-based service. He is also a volunteer providing legal assistance to victims of domestic violence and serves on the Board of the Saratoga Center of the Family.
Morelli emphasized his commitment to running a disciplined, effective campaign and earning the trust of a broad cross-section of voters.
“I am running to keep Clifton Park on the right track—with experienced leadership, responsible governance, and a clear focus on our residents’ quality of life,” Morelli said.
