Endorsed by the Town of Clifton Park Republican Committee for Town Board
“I am excited to continue working diligently and delivering results for our residents and I humbly ask for your confidence and support for another full term on the Clifton Park Town Board.”
We have all been beneficiaries of the hard work of many dedicated employees and elected officials over the years here in Clifton Park and I have been most honored to join those ranks in recent years. I believe that my tenure has demonstrated my ability to lead, collaborate, communicate effectively and, most importantly, to get things done. I have been able to work effectively and advocate for our Town and our residents while navigating some particularly challenging and complex situations, all with integrity.
Appointed to the Town Board in October of 2020, I was elected to my current term during the 2021 election. I was appointed Deputy Supervisor in January 2021 and serve as the liaison to the Open Space, Ethics, GREEN, Tree and Historical Preservation Committees. Previously, I served as Deputy Town Attorney and Counsel to the Planning Board. Additionally, I have served as a member of the Environmental Conservation Commission, Zoning Board and the Industrial Development Agency, where I served as member and eventually as Chairman. On behalf of Saratoga County, I serve on the Board of the Capital Resource Corporation which provides low-interest and tax-exempt financing to not-for-profit organizations throughout the County.
As an attorney admitted in New York and Florida, I am a solo practitioner with a focus on family and criminal law. I have and continue to represent children and families regarding custody, neglect/abuse, adoption, juvenile delinquency and family offense proceedings and have represented clients in a variety of criminal proceedings and courts. I have an office in Clifton Park and am an Officer of the Saratoga County Bar Association as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the Italian American Bar Association.
I am a native of Ballston Spa, NY and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, NY. I attended RPI on a Navy ROTC scholarship and received a bachelor’s degree in biology. Upon graduation, I entered the U.S. Navy and served on active duty for 9 years as a Surface Warfare Officer including tours of duty on three different warships and at the Pentagon. I received numerous individual and unit awards and commendations and went on to serve in the Naval Reserves where I was twice mobilized to United States Central Command. I eventually retired in 2021 as a Commander with 21 years of total service. After leaving active duty, I moved to Clifton Park with my family in 2005 and started working at General Electric, which included roles in manufacturing and compliance through 2019 when I left to start my law practice.
Currently I serve as the Booster Club President for the Shen Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Previously, I served as Treasurer for the Tesago and Acadia PTA’s, served as the Treasurer for the Shen Council PTA and was awarded their Honorary Life Award. I also served on the Board in many capacities for Miss Shen Softball and spent many seasons coaching softball, Clifton Park Little League, and Clifton Park Soccer at the Commons. I have been a Den Leader for Cub Scouts and a “Cookie Dad” for Girl Scouts. Additionally, I am currently a Lector and Eucharistic Minister for St. Edward’s Church and have previously taught in their Faith Formation program. Most recently, I have also become an usher at Starpoint Church as well as being a volunteer with Wellspring where I offer free legal advice to victims of domestic violence. Finally, I am a proud member of Elks Lodge #2466 and a member of the American Legion and VFW chapters in Halfmoon.
Most important to me is my role as Dad. I am the proud father of 3 children. Andrew is a senior at Syracuse University majoring in Finance and Real Estate and is on an Army ROTC scholarship. Morgan is a sophomore at Sacred Heart University majoring in exercise science and runs on their Cross Country and Track teams. Addy is a junior at Shen and is on the Cross Country and Track Teams.
In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree from RPI, I have earned an MBA from George Washington University and a JD from Albany Law School. Having called Clifton Park home for the last 20 years, I am confident that my education and experience inside and outside of Town Hall, coupled with my drive, determination and passion for the continuous improvement of our Town, places me in the best position to continue to serve on the Clifton Park Town Board.
